That uncertainty is not the leadership it takes to make the Lucas County GOP great again. It’s time for new direction!

Mark Interviewed on the Talking Fred
We encourage RNLC supporters to take a listen and share Mark’s recent interview with Fred LeFebvre, in which he discusses the need and potential for a legitimate Republican Party in Lucas County. “If you take a look at some previous races, for example, Jon Husted won Lucas County four years ago, Maggie Thurber won a Lucas County Commissioners race as a Republican, and Larry Kaczala was a longtime Republican auditor. The fundamentals are there for Republican success. We just have to go out and find good candidates, have a good message, and run good campaigns.” Mark said regarding the potential of Republicans in the county.
Mark noted in the interview that we can continue to have strong conservative governance in the suburbs while actually being competitive in Toledo and the county at wide. He also spoke on trying to incorporate the local Republican clubs into the agenda of Lucas County Republican Party, and the importance of working together to form a better Republican Party.

Questions Arise Around Current Chairman
A recent article by Tom Troy of the Toledo Blade has raised questions on the candidacy of the current Chairman of the Lucas County Republican Party. In the article, it’s stated “Mr. Stainbrook said he will make his announcement about whether he’ll run for chairman after theFeb. 7 filing deadline.”
While the current chairman appears to want wait to make his intentions clear, Mark Wagoner has made his intentions crystal clear. He is running for County Party Chairman, and has no doubts about his campaigns chances at victory and the good that new leadership can bring our local party.
With no doubt that victory can be accomplished, Mark and the RNLC continue to push forward to work for a better Lucas County.
